It all feels so personal to the club, especially because some of the bricks are engraved with the names of members and friends who have helped make this place beautiful; some of them even died.
âIt’s like sacred here. We follow the flowers every day because flowers are the best medicine for everyone. Very emotional these past two days. Very hard for me. Very hard, âadded Stasia.
The club shared their surveillance footage with the police, and now they are raising money to make repairs. They even expressed their forgiveness for the suspect⦠nothing could damage their deep pride in their culture and history.
âThis building has been there for 82 years and this organization for about 90 years. We feel obligated to make sure it is still 80 years old. We are really very proud of it, âsaid Dziedzic.
