Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 31 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi (SP) party for plotting to create disruption during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and said that any vehicle carrying the SP flag indicates that the person sitting inside would be a “jerk”.
Addressing a public rally in Raebareli, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said: “If you ask someone about the SP, it looks like this car that carries the SP party flag, the person sitting inside is sure to be a jerk.
“The SP flag is the symbol of anarchy. Even during the inauguration of the Kanpur metro, SP workers tried to incite riots, ”he said.
Earlier Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh police arrested five workers from the Samajwadi Party (SP) of Kanpur for plotting to create disruption during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city.

The Prime Minister was in Kanpur on Tuesday to inaugurate the completed section of the Kanpur metro rail project and participated in the graduation ceremony of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in Kanpur.
Adityanath also criticized the arrest of perfume businessman Peeyush Jain for recovering unrecorded silver and gold in his possession and said: “The money earmarked for the development of the state was transferred to the pockets of those in power. the money is recovered by breaking down the walls.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Secretary Amit Shah also looked into the arrest of perfume merchant Peeyush Jain.
The Kanpur-based businessman was arrested on Sunday under section 67 of the CGST law after the recovery of unrecorded silver, gold and sandalwood.
The accused was sent to 14 days in custody by a Kanpur court in the case. (ANI)
