Islamabad, June 28 (KMS): The attack on Jammu Air Base is part of a series of false flag operations led by India to defame Pakistan and the legitimate struggle for freedom in Jammu-et -Cashmere busy.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service said the attack on the air base showed all signs of a false flag operation, an act committed with the intent to disguise the real source of responsibility and to lay blame on another part, by India.

The precision with which the attack on the Jammu Air Force base was carried out clearly reflects that it was the work of insiders. However, India has always played the victim card to blame Pakistan for its failures. By associating Pakistan with the attack, India is in fact trying to put Islamabad on the FATF blacklist.

Interestingly, the report cited a Pakistani newspaper, TheNation, which in its January 3, 2021 publication under the headline “Imminent Threat of India’s” False Flag Operation “had warned that New Delhi was preparing a false operation … to distract attention from many of its internal problems and the resulting criticism from international institutions and the media. Prime Minister Imran Khan also pointed out that India was planning a false flag operation to distract the whole world from its genocidal activities in illegally occupied Indian Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to the report, the newspaper added: “Indian political and military leaders as well as the media are paving the way for the spread of yet another false flag operation. The BJP government is planting an established narrative in its media while distracting international attention from the IIOJK and the deteriorating law and order situation. India faces multiple challenges, including the economic downturn, national insurgencies, widespread protests, tensions between ethnic groups and religious bigotry. Growing friction between Pakistan and India, and Islamabad’s continued warning of limited war or false flag operations, has apparently been overshadowed by the recent standoff between India and China.

The report, however, maintained that the Modi government’s aggressive foreign and domestic policy outlook has isolated India internationally and the world is no longer buying India’s terrorist mantra on Pakistan.

The report added that New Delhi used to conduct false flag operations to achieve its nefarious designs. He said that on November 26, 2008, India carried out attacks in Mumbai to put pressure on Pakistan. In July 2013, ex-CBI investigative officer Satish Verma uncovered the secret that the Indian government had killed hundreds of people in Mumbai and attacked Parliament just to strengthen anti-terrorism legislation.

Then-Indian Interior Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde revealed that the BJP and RSS were running training camps to promote Hindu terrorism. These extremist groups are also responsible for the explosions of Samjhauta Express, Makkah Masjid and Malegaon. On the day of the Bombay attacks, Hemant Karkare, head of the Maharashtra counterterrorism force, was assassinated. He led the terrorist investigation of Malegaon in 2008 and, at the end of October 2008, he detained 11 suspects, most of whom were linked to a previous extremist Hindutva party, Abhinav Bharat. Hemant Karkare had noticed that Hindustva groups in India were promoting terrorism, which is why he was assassinated.

In 2016, the report said that, without any investigation, the BJP government quickly accused Pakistan of sponsoring the attack on Pathankot airbase in Indian Punjab. An internal investigation, however, refuted the Indian government’s statements within hours. Subsequently, the Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Sharad Kumar said: “There is no evidence to show that Pakistan has any connection in the Pathankot attack.

In 2019, India used the self-created Pulwama incident to carry out a deadly surgical strike on Pakistan’s trees, the report said, and added that immediately after the incident, the Indian Prime Minister blamed Pakistan and threatened with surgical strikes without any investigation or evidence. Pulwama was a false flag operation that was politically used by the Modi government to gain the sympathy of Hindutva supporters. The Pulwama attack and the debate that followed provided ample evidence that Modi was the primary beneficiary of the resulting escalation.

The report concluded that India was constantly creating opportunities for false flag operations to portray itself as a victim of terrorism. Due to India’s falsified propaganda campaigns – as well as disinformation campaigns and diplomatic efforts – Pakistan has been placed on the FATF’s gray list. Now, the attack on Jammu air base is also part of the Indian plot to move Islamabad from the gray list to the black list, he added.

However, India will fail in its nefarious designs against Pakistan and the Kashmir movement by organizing the Jammu Air Force base as false flag operations, according to the report.
