In their usual grandiose fashion, Sujimoto is erecting the largest flag ever seen in Nigeria to commemorate the nation’s 61st birthday as well as the completion of the top floor of their Banana Island – Lucrezia De Medici project.

Much like their conquest of the luxury real estate industry which has turned its parameters upside down, raising the bar to an unattainable level, Sujimoto Construction Limited is raising Nigeria’s tallest flag to mark Nigeria at 61 and the completion of the crown jewel of Banana Island – Lucrezia De Medici.

Standing tall and wide, caressing the island breeze, the flag will be a fusion of a great nation and its child prodigy – Sujimoto.

Sujimoto Managing Director Sijibomi Ogundele said the flag is an emblem of liberation from mediocrity in luxury real estate in Nigeria. In his words, “The importance of this flag cannot be overstated.

It is a declaration of victory. As a nation, we have proven that we are indeed the “Giant of Africa” For 61 years, we have produced some of the best minds and the best companies in Africa. From Dangote to Adenuga, Davido ExonMobil, Abdul Samad from BUA, PiggyVest, Innoson, Coscharis, to Sujimoto and other daring indigenous businesses, Nigeria has told a story of diligence and productivity not common to other African countries. Even in a rapidly running out of economy, we are still producing Africa’s richest men. Imagine the heights we can reach if Nigeria had the economy and infrastructure it deserves.

He added that, “As one of Nigeria’s many gifted hands, we at Sujimoto have taken it upon ourselves to continue to prove that Nigeria is nothing less than a gold mine. We’ve erected the most iconic building the straps of Banana Island have ever held, we’ve changed the tone of luxury in Nigeria and that’s just the start. We have dispersed the rules and have become pioneers of innovation. By the time we finish renaming luxury living in Nigeria, there will be no room for any form of mediocrity ”.

Speaking about the location of the flag, he hinted that the gigantic pennant is erected at the very top of the Magnificent Curve of Banana Island – Lucrezia De Medici, a reminder of its domineering superiority over all the other buildings that surround it.

The 15-story enigma, Lucrezia, being the tallest residential building in Africa’s most sophisticated neighborhood, towers over all of its competitors in height, class and features, making it the most desirable building on the island.
