HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY 2022: India is preparing to celebrate its 75th Independence Day on August 15. As the day approached, the feeling of patriotism rose in the hearts of all citizens, and the tricolor lit up the nation. This year, the Indian government has launched a new initiative, “Har Ghar Tiranga”.

Launching the campaign, Prime Minister Modi said: “75 years ago, this is the day the country adopted its current national flag. Today we remember the courage and the monumental efforts of all those who dreamed of a flag for free India when we were fighting the colonial regime. We reiterate our commitment to realizing their vision and building the India of their dreams.

To mark Independence Day, the Prime Minister will hoist the “Tiranga” over the iconic Red Fort. Continuing the traditions, this year Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. When to watch PM Live on Independence Day?

On the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Monday, August 15. From 7:30 a.m., the national flag will be hoisted at Fort Rouge, which will be followed by the Prime Minister’s Speech.

Where to watch PM live on August 15?

National public broadcaster Doordarshan will broadcast the prime minister’s address to the nation live. You can watch the speech on the Press Information Bureau (PIB) YouTube channel as well as on its Twitter account. It will also be streamed live on the PMO’s Twitter handle.

President’s speech on the eve of Independence Day:

Like every year, the president will address the nation on the eve of Independence Day. Draupadi Murmu will greet citizens for the first time after becoming President of India. It will also welcome the Indian contingent around a snack.
